Every model in this range uses the same clear glass lantern, the same cast iron hook and the same 100 cm drop. You are picking a silhouette for the ceiling. A spoked ship wheel is a centred, symmetrical object for a square table or a hall. A curved hull section reads as a fragment and suits a corner or a single lantern over a landing. A straight plank spreads light along a line, which is what an island or a long table wants. Work out the shape of the space under the fitting first and the model follows from it.

Is the wood solid or a veneer?

Solid. A hand crafted wood beam with cast iron fittings, and the grain runs through the shaped frames. Tone and figure shift between pieces, which is what you want on a frame meant to look salvaged.

What is the difference between the eight models?

The frame, not the parts. Every model uses the same glass lanterns, the same iron hooks and the same 100 cm height. What changes is the shape: a spoked ship wheel, a curved hull section, a straight plank or a round ring, with one to eight lanterns.

Which model suits a kitchen island?

One of the plank builds. The 6 light at 90 cm or the 8 light at 80 cm spread their lanterns along a line, which matches the shape of an island. The round and wheel frames suit a square table or an entry hall better.

Which lamps does it take?

One E26 lamp per lantern, not included. A clear filament lamp looks right inside a clear glass lantern; a frosted lamp cuts glare under a low ceiling.

How heavy is it?

From about 8 kg on the single lantern to 25 kg on the largest eight light. Check the ceiling box before you choose a large model, and treat anything above 15 kg as a two person install.

Can it go on a covered porch?

The rating is IP20, dry indoor use only. Salt air and damp will mark the iron and swell the wood joints, whatever the coastal look suggests.

These frames are cut and finished to read as reclaimed timber, and the wood is solid rather than a printed surface. That means grain, knots and tone move from one piece to the next, and the iron hardware carries a deliberately uneven finish. It is the point of the design and it is why the fitting sits so easily under a vaulted ceiling next to stone. It also sets an expectation worth being clear about: your chandelier will not match the photograph line for line. If you need two matching fittings over one long table, order them together so they come from the same batch.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum purchase. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for delivery.

How long before my order ships?

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment. We keep a short 24-hour window before processing so that you can adjust or cancel your order if you need to. Our team places orders with our warehouses Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

How long does delivery take?

Once your order has shipped, it is usually in transit for about 7 to 10 days. This is an estimate and can occasionally be longer depending on the destination country and the carrier handling your parcel.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your parcel ships, we send you an email containing a tracking link so you can follow its progress. If you do not see it, please check your Spam and Promotions folders.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
