The Staggered Drop Is a Choice Made at Installation, Not Set at the Factory

The reason this fitting looks different in every photograph is that nothing about the drop is fixed. Every cord arrives long and is cut when the piece goes up. Over a round dining table you would pull the heads close together and keep them level, so the cluster reads as one object. In a stairwell you would let them fall over four or five feet and stagger them hard, so the piece becomes a vertical line rather than a horizontal one. Can the cords be shortened?

Yes. Each cord is supplied at up to 5 ft and is cut to length when the fitting goes up. That is how the staggered drop is made, and it means the same version can read as a tight cluster or as a long cascade.

Are the bulbs supplied?

Yes, an E27 bulb comes with every head. They are replaceable, which on an eighteen head piece is worth knowing, because one failed bulb is a two minute job and not a reason to take the fitting down.

What does it weigh at eighteen heads?

About 79 lbs. That needs a fixing into a joist or a structural plate rather than a plastic ceiling box. At one head, around 4.4 lbs, a standard box is enough. The step between the two is worth checking with your electrician.

How wide is the ceiling plate?

From 4.7 inches on the one head version to 23.6 inches on the 16 and 18 head versions. The largest plate is wider than most ceiling openings, so measure the area around your junction box before you choose a large version.

Does one head give enough light?

Over a basin or beside a mirror, yes. One E27 bulb behind stone is a soft pool rather than a task light. For a working counter or a dining table, three or five heads spread the same quality of light across a wider area.

Is the stone the same in every cylinder?

Each cylinder is cut from natural alabaster, so the veining runs differently in each one. On a multi head version that is visible when the fitting is on, and it is what keeps a row of identical shapes from looking machine made.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
