Almost every garden light is vertical. Bollards, posts, stakes, lanterns: all of them stand up, all of them read as equipment, and all of them interrupt a lawn. This one is horizontal. What is the shell made of?

Polyethylene, molded in one piece, which is the material garden furniture is made from. It carries a curve in every direction, it does not rust, and it takes a knock from a football without cracking.

Which size for a lawn?

The 47.2 inch if it is the only object on an open lawn, because anything smaller gets lost in the space. The 31.5 inch at the edge of a border or on a terrace where the setting is tighter.

Warm or cool light?

Both. It is a dual color temperature build, so the same fixture covers a warm evening setting and a cooler one without choosing at the time of purchase.

Can people sit on it?

It is a lit object with a low profile, so treat it as you would any molded lamp shell and keep weight off the top.

How is it powered?

Hardwired on AC 110-240V from a common wall switch, so a supply has to reach the position. On a lawn that means a buried cable, which is worth planning before the turf goes down.

Can it stay out through the rain?

Yes. It is rated IP65 against dust and water jets from any direction, so rain and sprinklers are fine. Do not immerse it, and keep it out of hollows where water gathers after a storm.

You cannot fold this shape out of sheet material and you cannot blow it in glass at this size. A cloud has curves running two ways at every point, and the only way to make it in a garden proof material is to mold it, which is exactly how outdoor furniture is made. Polyethylene gives the shell its soft edges, its even glow when lit from inside and its indifference to frost, rain and a football. The surface is slightly uneven in the way a real cloud is, so the light coming through is brighter in the thin places and denser in the thick ones rather than flat across the whole body.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
