Blown Glass Flowers Are Not a Pattern, So Every Shade Differs Slightly

A pressed or molded shade comes out of the same tool every time and any two are identical. These are blown by hand, which means each poppy has its own thickness, its own curl at the petal edge and its own way of holding light. On a three arm fitting you notice it: the flowers sit at slightly different angles and catch the lamp differently, so the fitting looks made rather than assembled. It also means a replacement shade years from now will not match exactly, which is worth knowing before you hang one over a table.

What is the difference between style A and style B?

The number of glass flowers. A carries three, B carries five, and B costs more. They are sold as bare letters, so we counted them in the photographs and say it here.

What bulb does it take?

Write to us and we will send you the lamp base in writing. On a fitting whose lamps are described as replaceable, that is the one detail you need in order to buy a spare.

Clear or red?

Clear keeps the ribbing in the petals visible and lets the fitting sit quietly in a room. Red turns the same brass frame into the subject: in the photographs it reads as a deep pink poppy and dominates the wall behind it.

Does it dim?

This model is listed as not dimmable, with no build offered on request, which is unusual in this range. Take that into account if it is going over a dining table.

Is there more than one size?

One size, 35.4 inches wide and 21.6 inches tall, on both styles. The only choices are the flower count and the glass color, which makes this the simplest fitting of the range to order.

How fragile are the flowers?

They are hand blown glass with thin ribbed petals, so treat each one as you would a wine glass. Support the flower in one hand while you wipe it and never twist it against the arm.

Red Glass Turns the Same Brass Frame Into a Completely Different Fitting

In clear glass this is a quiet piece: the brass draws the arms, the ribbed petals catch a little light and the whole thing sits back in a room. In red it stops being background. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
