Can the orientation be changed later?

The fitting is built one way or the other at the factory, so the choice is made at the order. Pick flat where it hangs over a surface and upright where it hangs beside a wall or in a line of sight.

Which orientation beside a bed?

Upright, because the lit circle then faces into the room and reads as an object at eye level rather than as a shade above the nightstand. Flat is the better answer over a desk or a counter, where the light needs to land on the surface.

How much light does it give?

About 32 square feet at the small size and up to 75 at the large one, so it covers a bedside, a reading corner or one end of a counter. It is an accent fitting rather than the main source in a room.

What is between the two glass faces?

An opal ring carrying the LED, which lights both faces and the cut edge of the glass. From underneath you see the ring; from the side you see a bright rim around a tinted disc, which is why the upright version works as a wall facing object.

Does the amber tint change the light?

The glass warms the output, so the pool below reads honey rather than white even on the cool 5000K version. In a room with wood or brass that suits, and in a cold white kitchen it is worth knowing before ordering.

How low should the flat version hang?

About 30 inches above a desk and closer to 32 above a counter. The upright version has no fixed rule, since the point there is where it sits in the view rather than how far above a surface it is.

An Upright Disc Fills a Wall the Way a Picture Does Rather Than a Lamp

A pendant hung beside a wall usually looks like a lamp that strayed from the middle of the room. Turning the disc to face the wall changes what it is: a lit circle at eye level, doing the job a framed picture or a mirror would do in the same spot while also lighting the corner. In a hallway or beside a bed that is a far more useful shape than a shade.

How long does delivery take?

Once your order has shipped, it is usually in transit for about 7 to 10 days. This is an estimate and can occasionally be longer depending on the destination country and the carrier handling your parcel.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your parcel ships, we send you an email containing a tracking link so you can follow its progress. If you do not see it, please check your Spam and Promotions folders.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
