Fifty Nine Inches of Spread Is What This Needs a High Ceiling For
Ten arms of thick hemp rope leave a single black canopy, arch outward and drop to a lamp each, spreading 59.1 inches across and 39.4 inches down. That spread is the point and it is also the constraint: a fitting this wide needs room above it and around it, so it belongs under a high ceiling, in a stairwell or over a long table rather than in an ordinary eight foot room. Four versions are offered at the same diameter, differing in what hangs at the end of each rope: bare filament lamps, or wire cages in three shapes.
