A Column of Stacked Beads Under One Glass Globe
A run of turned wood spheres, graduating in size, stacked into a vertical column on a small brass arm, with a single white glass globe at the top. The beads are the whole design and they do something a plain stem cannot: the column reads as a rhythm rather than as a line, and the graduation draws the eye upward to the light. At H 60 cm it is tall, and only 15 cm wide, so it fills a narrow strip of wall the way a pair of candlesticks would. Two finishes, a walnut and a black, and the piece changes completely between them. The base is E14, a small screw fitting, not included.
