Flat Discs, Not Spheres, Which Is Why It Scatters Light Sideways
Gold rods leave a central hub in every direction and carry flat discs of bubbled glass hung in loose tiers below them. Because the glass is flat rather than blown into a sphere, light leaves it sideways as much as downward, and the discs catch each other rather than sitting in a neat ring. Two glass options change the whole character: translucent frosted glass gives a soft mass, transparent glass keeps the bubbles visible and throws harder highlights. Three sizes, up to eight E14 lamps included.
