Why choose the depth?

Because reach decides whether the beam clears what hangs below. At 3.2 inches the rod sits close, which suits a flat mirror. At 3.9 inches it clears a slim frame. At 5.9 inches it clears a deeper one. Most fittings fix this figure and leave you to live with it, and here it is a standard option rather than a special order.

Which finish is which?

Three are offered. Brushed nickel with gold is the cool option, closest to nickel taps and steel. Gold is warm throughout. Black with gold is a dark rod with warm metal at the ends and at the boss. The shape is identical in all three, so the decision is about the metal already in the room.

How is it dimmed?

Only on the dimmable build, and only with a TRIAC dimmer, also sold as a leading edge dimmer. A standard rotary dimmer will not drive it. Choose the dimmable version at order, since the plain build cannot be dimmed later.

Does it fit a US junction box?

Yes. It comes with a US standard mounting plate. Check the box in your wall first if it is an older or a metric fitting, because the boss on this rod is small and a wide box may need extra hardware behind it.

Which length for a mirror?

About half to two thirds of the glass. A 40 inch mirror takes the 27 inch rod, a 55 to 60 inch mirror the 38.5 inch rod, a double vanity the 50 inch rod. At 2 inches high it is the least visible bar in this range over a wide mirror, which is what people buy it for.

Can it go in a bathroom?

On a dry wall, yes, and most of the photography is of bathrooms. IP20 means no water protection, so keep it clear of the shower and of spray.

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
