Are the bulbs supplied?

Yes, eight E26 bulbs come with the fitting. E26 is the standard household base in North America, so replacements are available anywhere, which is not something every fitting in this material can say.

How much light does it give?

120W in total across eight bulbs, which over a dining table is a generous amount of light for a fitting of this diameter. Write to us if the exact lumen figure matters for your room and we will send it in writing.

Why is the ring open in the middle?

So that you see ceiling through it. A solid disc of the same diameter would read as a heavy object overhead. An open ring reads as a drawn circle with eight lit points on it, which is much lighter in a room with a low ceiling.

Can it be dimmed?

This model is not dimmable as built. With E26 bulbs supplied, the level is set by the bulbs themselves, so a lower output bulb is one way to bring it down if the room needs it.

Can it go on a sloped ceiling?

The standard build is for a flat ceiling on three cables. Tell us the angle of your ceiling and we will tell you what can be done with the suspension.

Does the stone hide the bulbs?

Yes, each cylinder stands over its bulb like a shade, so you see lit stone from any seated position. From directly above you would see the sockets, which is only relevant on a stairwell or a landing.

Eight Separate Points of Light Behave Differently From One Large Source

A single wide shade gives you one soft pool and very little shadow, which reads as flat in a room with texture. Eight small sources spread around a two foot ring give you eight overlapping pools instead, so anything with relief under it, a rug, a stone wall, a table with objects on it, gets edges. It is a subtle difference on paper and an obvious one in the room. The fitting is also 7.8 inches deep in total, so all of that happens close to the ceiling rather than in the middle of the space below it.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
