Which size suits a bedside?

The 20 cm on a narrow wall beside a bed, the 25 cm if the wall is open and the bed is wide. The 30 cm reads as a wall piece and wants clear space, so it is better above a console or on a dining wall than squeezed next to a headboard.

Is it bright enough to read by?

Beside a bed at close range, with a warmer lamp at a reasonable output, yes. The frosted ball spreads the light in every direction rather than aiming it, so the pool is soft. If you read for long stretches, a fitting with a directed shade will serve you better.

Oak or walnut?

The nature oak is pale and open grained, so it holds its own on a dark wall and lightens a corner. The black walnut runs dark with figure through it, which suits a pale plaster wall and makes the globe the brightest thing on it.

How far does it stand off the wall?

Which lamp does it take?

A G9 lamp, not included. A warm 2700K to 3000K LED or filament capsule suits the wood. Because the glass is frosted, the lamp itself is never visible, so an inexpensive LED performs the same as a filament here.

How do I clean it?

Let the lamp cool. Wipe the frosted ball with a barely damp cloth and dry it. Wipe the wood disc along the grain with a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.

Three sizes share one glass ball, so what changes between them is how much wood surrounds it. At 20 cm the disc is a tight ring around the globe and the piece reads as a small bedside light. At 30 cm the wood dominates and the fitting becomes a disc with a glow in it, which is how it works on a dining wall or in a stairwell. Depth stays 14.5 cm throughout, because the projection comes from the ball and not from the disc, so none of the three sticks out further than the others. How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?
