A Long Rod Crossed Near the Bottom, Which Is Why It Reads as a Drawing Rather Than a Fixture
The rod runs up to 47.2 inches and the mount crosses it low, closer to a third of the way up than to the middle. That off balance meeting is the whole character of the piece: on a tall wall it reads as a line and a stroke, closer to a pencil mark than to a light fitting. Three heights cover a bedside, a console and a double height wall. It runs on a cell charged over USB-C, so the rod goes onto a finished plaster or plank wall with two screws and nothing else.
