The light source here is not behind a glass shade. Each disc is cut from yellow travertine, a stone full of small voids, and an integrated LED sits behind it, so the stone glows at the rim and diffuses the rest. That is why the bar reads warm even when it is switched off: the material is doing the work. Three widths cover the usual mirror sizes, 32 cm with two discs, 51 cm with three and 70 cm with four, and all three stand 16 cm off the wall. The bar comes light wood with brass arms and screw covers, or dark walnut with black ones, which lets it follow the tap and handle finish already in the room. Because travertine is a sedimentary stone, no two discs carry the same pitting or the same banding.

Which width suits my mirror?

Match the bar to the mirror rather than to the wall. Two lights spans 32 cm and suits a small round mirror, three lights spans 51 cm for a standard vanity mirror, and four lights spans 70 cm for a wide or double vanity.

Does it cover a standard junction box?

On its own, no. The bar is narrow and leaves part of a North American junction box showing, so a mounting accessory is needed. Ask us for it when you order and we send the right part with the fitting.

Can it be dimmed?

A triac dimmable build is available. It needs a triac dimmer on the circuit; a standard rotary dimmer will not control it smoothly. Tell us at order time so the right driver goes in.

What is the difference between the two finishes?

The light wood bar carries brass arms and screw covers, the walnut bar carries black ones. Both hold the same yellow travertine discs. Check the hardware already in the room before choosing.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes, in a bathroom, away from direct water. It is an indoor fitting built for indirect moisture, so it belongs beside a mirror rather than inside a shower or directly over a tub.

Will the stone look like the photographs?

Close, but not identical. Travertine forms with voids and color bands running through it, so the pitting and the tone shift from one disc to the next. That variation is the material, not a fault.

The Junction Box, the Dimmer and the Rating Are the Three Things to Settle

Three practical points. First, the bar is narrower than a standard North American junction box, so it does not cover one on its own and a mounting accessory has to go in with it. Ask for that part when you order rather than discovering it on the ladder. Second, dimming is a build option and it needs a triac dimmer on the circuit; a plain rotary dimmer will flicker or refuse to hold a low level. Third, the rating is IP20, so it belongs on a dry wall beside a mirror and not inside a shower or directly over a tub, whatever a bathroom photograph suggests.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
