Two Bars Crossed, With the Light Coming From Between Them
Two bars, one cut from yellow travertine and one from solid wood, laid across each other at an angle and fixed flat to the wall. The LED sits in the gap where they cross, so the light leaves as a line rather than a pool and runs along both bars before it reaches the plaster. Nothing about the fitting projects: it is 18 cm long and stands 4.5 cm off the wall, which is what lets it sit above a nightstand or a desk at eye level without being in the way. Two wood tones, a dark walnut and a pale wood, both against the same honey stone. Hardwired, with no lamp to buy.
