Layers of Bamboo Cane That Throw a Pattern on the Wall
Cane webbing is the open weave you know from chair seats and headboards. Here it is stretched in rounded triangular screens, edged in thin black metal and layered over one another in front of a bulb. Lit, the light passes through the holes and the overlaps, so the wall around the lamp fills with a soft grid of light and shadow. Two sizes: a small one at 13 by 16.5 inches for a bedside, and a large one at 30.3 by 23.2 inches that works as wall art. Both sit 3.5 inches off the wall, take an E26 bulb and are hardwired.
