Why do all three sizes share one footprint?

So they group. Three lamps of the same diameter at different heights read as one family standing together, and on a balcony or a small terrace they take no more floor than one would. Only the height changes, from 11 to 20.5 inches.

What does the acrylic lining do?

It spreads the light before it reaches the weave. Without it the source would show as a bright point through the gaps; with it the whole woven surface lights evenly and the pattern of the rattan stays readable from a few feet away.

Is this rattan or a synthetic?

Rattan with metal and acrylic on this model, unlike the braided faux rattan lantern elsewhere in this range. Treat it as a natural material: let it dry after rain and keep it out of standing water.

How is the solar build controlled?

With a handheld remote. The wired build runs from a common wall switch, not supplied. That is the one real difference in use between the two, beyond where the power comes from.

Which height for a balcony corner?

The 20.5 inch. It reads from inside through a door or a window, which a low lamp on a balcony floor never does, and it still occupies only 12.2 inches of floor because the footprint does not grow with the height.

Can it stay out in the rain?

Rated IP65, the body keeps dust out and shrugs off water jets from every side. Do not immerse it. On a natural rattan body it is worth letting the weave dry properly rather than covering it while damp.

Put a bare LED inside a woven basket and you get a bright point visible through every gap, which flattens the weave and puts a hard source in the sight line. The acrylic lining here sits just inside the rattan and spreads the output before it reaches the weave, so the whole woven surface lights at an even level. The pattern of the strands reads as pattern rather than as a screen with a lamp behind it, and there is nothing harsh to look at from a chair beside it. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
