The Arm Is a Frame Rather Than a Bracket, and That Is What Lets the Tube Stand Clear
Most picture lights hang off a single stem. This one stands on a triangular frame that meets the tube at two points, so the bar holds level and stays put when you tilt it. That frame also sets the reach: the shorter build stands 5.5 inches off the wall and the deeper one 11 inches, which is what decides whether the beam grazes a flat print or clears the lip of a heavy gilt frame. The tube itself is a plain gold cylinder, 0.9 inches across, in three lengths from 16.9 to 28.7 inches. A lithium cell inside runs it, so it goes above a painting, a mirror or a cabinet with two screws and no wiring at all.
