Two Lit Columns Rising From Dark Metal Is What Gives It Sculptural Weight

The base is a thick metal tube bent into a U, and it stays dark when the fitting is on. The two alabaster columns growing out of it are lit from inside by a built in LED, so what the eye reads is two glowing verticals held by a heavy dark curve. That contrast is the design. A fitting where the metal also caught the light would flatten into one bright shape. At 5.5 inches wide and 17.7 inches tall it holds a hallway wall, sits beside a fireplace or works as a pair either side of a console.

Is there a bulb to replace?

The LED is built in at 3000K warm white, so nothing is matched, bought or changed later. On a fitting lighting two stone columns evenly, that consistency is the point.

Can I dim this sconce?

Dimming is not listed on this model, so we do not promise it. If the wall needs to go low in the evening, plan that on another circuit in the same room.

Which finish should I choose?

Antique bronze is darker and gives the strongest contrast against the lit stone, which reads heavier and older. Nickel is quieter and lets the two glowing columns carry the piece.

Will the alabaster match the photographs?

It is natural stone, so veining and tone differ from column to column and from piece to piece. Even the two columns on one fitting will not be identical to each other.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. At 17.7 inches tall, set the box height against the furniture below rather than at standard switch height.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. Alabaster is porous and stains permanently from steam, and no cleaning reverses that once it has happened to the stone.

A Built In LED Means No Bulbs to Buy and Nothing to Reach for Later On

The LED is fixed inside at 3000K warm white, so there is no socket to hide, no bulb to match to the stone and nothing to change once the fitting is on the wall. On a piece where the light has to pass evenly through two stone columns, that matters: a bulb of the wrong shape or color temperature would leave one column brighter than the other. The trade is that the output is fixed and the fitting is not dimmable, so decide how bright that wall should be before the boxes are set rather than after.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
