One Continuous Ribbon of Bent Wood, From the Flat Foot to the Hanging Shade

There is no base and no stem on this lamp, only one piece of wood bent into a single path. It starts as a flat foot lying on the table, turns upward in a long sweep, doubles back on itself at the top and finishes out over the surface, where the shade hangs from the end. That construction is what gives the lamp its lightness: the eye follows one line rather than reading a base, a post and a shade stacked on each other, and the footprint on a nightstand is about that of a paperback lying flat. Bending timber this far without breaking it is the reason bentwood furniture exists at all, and the curve here is the whole product. Does the arm adjust?

The curve is fixed, because it is a single piece of bent wood rather than a jointed arm. To change where the light falls, turn the whole lamp on its foot.

How much room does it take on a nightstand?

Very little. The foot is 18 cm and flat, about the footprint of a paperback, and the arm carries the shade out over the surface rather than needing space beside it.

What are the four combinations?

Two woods, a pale natural and a walnut, each with a white or a gray shade. The pale wood with white is the quietest, walnut with gray the most graphic, and the two crossed pairings sit in between.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
