Rippled Glass and a Scrolled Arm, Cast Rather Than Pressed From Sheet
This is the traditional reading, done properly. The arm is a double scroll that carries the lantern out and down from a cast back plate, the glass is rippled rather than smooth so the bulb inside breaks into a dozen highlights, and the body is a six sided vessel closed by a finial at the foot and a vented crown at the top. The casting carries acanthus detail on the plate and the shoulders. Two sizes at 16.9 and 20.5 inches tall, in an aged brass or a black. Aluminum, glass and metal, IP65.
