Two Glass Tones in One Fitting Give It Form Even When It Is Switched Off

A chandelier made entirely of clear or amber glass has one state: lit, it glows, and off, it is a pale shape. Mixing cognac and smoke changes that. What color is the glass really?

How much does it weigh?

Write to us with the version you are looking at and we will send you the weight in writing. The largest ones are serious ceiling loads, so it is a figure worth having before you commit.

How many lamps does it take?

The largest linear version draws 234W on G9 lamps, which implies a great many heads. Write to us with the version you want and we will send you the count so you can buy spares at the same time.

Which version over a dining table?

The B linear bar. At 31 to 47 inches it follows the table and the 16.9 inch depth gives the glass room to mass without hanging into anyone's view across the table.

What is the C version for?

Height. The larger C falls 53 inches, so it is made for a tall room, a stairwell or a double height space where you want the glass read from two levels. In a normal room it will end near head height.

Is there a size D?

Three sizes are sold here. An 11.8 by 25.6 inch version appears in some copy but in no options list, so we do not list it. Tell us if you want it chased and we will ask.

Fine Brass Spikes Fall Below the Glass and Change the Whole Silhouette

Without them the fitting would be a mass of glass with a clean lower edge. The spikes break that edge, drawing a set of thin vertical lines down into the space below the cluster so the eye reads the piece as falling rather than sitting. It is a small addition that does a lot of work, and it is also the part to keep in mind when placing the fitting: those spikes are sharp, thin and at eye level if the drop is set too low over a console or beside a stair rail.

How long does delivery take?

Once your order has shipped, it is usually in transit for about 7 to 10 days. This is an estimate and can occasionally be longer depending on the destination country and the carrier handling your parcel.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your parcel ships, we send you an email containing a tracking link so you can follow its progress. If you do not see it, please check your Spam and Promotions folders.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
