A lit stone bar above a long dark dining table in a room with timber walls

One Long Line Over a Table Does Something That a Round Fitting Cannot Do

A table is a long rectangle and most chandeliers are round. Hang a round object over a long table and the two ends of the table sit outside the light, which is why people end up buying two pendants and spacing them. The single bar solves that in one piece. At 39.3 or 47.2 inches it covers the working length of a four to six seat table, and because the bar is rounded the light falls off the sides as well as straight down, so the chairs are lit and not only the plates. The ring version does the opposite job, gathering light into a circle for a round table or a square room, which is why both exist under one name.

Questions about this product

Everything you need to know about this product.

What is the difference between the ring and the bar?

The same rounded stone bar, used two ways. The ring carries several bars on black arms and reads as a round object over a table. The single bar is one long horizontal line, which suits an island or a narrow table better.

Why are the bars rounded?

A flat slab stops the light at its edge and gives you a hard line. A rounded bar lets the glow wrap around the face and fade, so the object has no visible boundary when it is on. It is also why the piece reads as soft from a distance.

Can the drop be changed?

Yes. The cable is up to 3.9 ft and is set at installation, so the height over a table is yours to choose. Below 3.9 ft you simply shorten the cable.

Is the LED replaceable?

It is built into the bar rather than being a bulb you can change, so treat the fitting as one part. If long term servicing matters to you, say so and we will go through it with you.

Which color temperature does it ship with?

It is a trichromatic build, so 3000K, 4000K and 6000K all come from the same fitting. Tell us which one you want and we will set it up that way.

How much light does it give?

Write to us with the size you are looking at and we will send you the wattage and the output in writing for that one. Worth knowing either way: stone diffuses rather than directs, so the same wattage reads softer here than it would behind clear glass.

Copper Pins at the Ends, and That Is the Whole of the Visible Hardware

Look at the bar from a chair and you see stone, two short copper pins and two thin cables. There is no channel, no housing and no visible driver box. That matters more than it sounds, because on a fitting this simple any extra piece of metal becomes the thing your eye lands on. Keeping the hardware down to two pins means the stone stays the subject, lit or not. The copper is polished rather than lacquered, so it warms with the light instead of reflecting it as a cold highlight, and it sits against the cream of the alabaster rather than cutting across it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum purchase. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for delivery.

How long before my order ships?

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment. We keep a short 24-hour window before processing so that you can adjust or cancel your order if you need to. Our team places orders with our warehouses Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

How long does delivery take?

Once your order has shipped, it is usually in transit for about 7 to 10 days. This is an estimate and can occasionally be longer depending on the destination country and the carrier handling your parcel.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your parcel ships, we send you an email containing a tracking link so you can follow its progress. If you do not see it, please check your Spam and Promotions folders.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
