Which lamps does it take?

E14 lamps, not included. Warm LED candles at about 4W each give a quiet even wash and stay cool, which matters on a bar people reach past. Filament lamps give a warmer, more visible glow that suits a framed print more than a mirror. The fitting carries no driver, so the lamp decides both the color and whether it dims.

Does the bar really tilt?

Yes. The pivot sits between the plate and the bar, so the shade rocks toward the wall or away from it. Set it with the light on: a bar aimed too steeply lights the top of a frame, and one aimed too flat washes the wall above the artwork instead of the artwork itself.

What width of mirror or print suits it?

Something between about 20 and 30 inches wide. At 13.8 inches the bar is meant to sit inside the width of the piece rather than span it. For a double vanity or a wide canvas, two of these spaced evenly beats one bar stretched across the middle.

Can I dim it?

With dimmable lamps and a dimmer rated for LED loads, yes. With ordinary lamps, no. Nothing in the fitting itself controls the light, which is what makes the lamp choice the important one and what lets this bar change character years after it goes up.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, with a box behind the plate and a switch on the wall. No cord, no plug. If the wall above the mirror has no supply, the plug in and rechargeable fittings in this range are the ones that avoid cutting a chase.

Can it go in a bathroom?

The rating is IP20, which is no protection against water, so keep it clear of the shower and of direct spray and wipe condensation off the bar.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
