vintage-wall-sconce-walnut-shade-brass-arm-two-models
Vintage Wall Sconce, Walnut Shade, Brass Arm, Two Models

A Vintage Wall Sconce in Solid Walnut and Brass

A round brass wall plate, a short brass arm that swivels, and a shade turned from solid walnut. Two shade shapes are offered on the same body: a cone, 16 cm across, and a rounded dome, 18 cm across. The cone throws a tighter pool straight down; the dome spreads it wider and softer. The arm swivels at the plate, so the shade can be turned along the wall or out into the room, and a brass pull cord hangs from the fitting for switching without reaching a wall plate. It is hardwired and takes an E26 or E27 bulb up to 40W, not included. Walnut and brass both change with time, the wood lightening under light and the brass darkening where it is touched, which is what gives an older pair of these its look.

Product sizes

Model A, cone shade: Dia 16 x H 15.5 cm (Dia 6.3″ x H 6.1″)

Model B, dome shade: Dia 18 x H 16 cm (Dia 7.1″ x H 6.3″)

Specifications

Style: Vintage, mid century

Material: Solid walnut and brass

Shade: Turned walnut, cone or rounded dome

Finish: Brass with a walnut shade

Light source: LED or Edison bulb, not included, max 40W

Bulb base: E26 or E27

Adjustment: The arm swivels at the wall plate

Control: Pull cord at the fitting

Wiring: Hardwired to the wall supply

Mounting: Wall

Voltage: AC 110-240V

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one piece to the next

Related collections

Browse Brass Wall Sconces, Wood Wall Sconces and Hardwired Wall Sconces for fittings that pair with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0997/8183/7096/files/vintage-wall-sconce-walnut-shade-cone-front.jpg?v=1789421009
