The globes take filament style bulbs, so the light half of the fixture reads as a small chandelier rather than as a fan light kit.

What this vintage ceiling fan with light is made of

Black painted metal blades on a black motor housing, with clear glass globes on short arms below. Two models are offered: Model A carries five glass lights and Model B carries three.

Motor and control

A DC motor with three speeds, which the maker describes as quieter and more efficient than an AC motor and free of wobble at every speed. A handheld remote is included. Standard household wall switches are not compatible, because the fan uses a wireless receiver, so a matching wireless wall switch is bought separately if wall control is wanted.

Sizes and mounting

Blade spans of 42 in, 48 in and 52 in, all 21.7 in high. The maker sizes 42 in for a bedroom, 48 in for a living room and 52 in for a great room. Mounting requires a concrete ceiling or a solid wood beam at least 6 cm wide; drywall, gypsum board, prefabricated panels and sloped ceilings are listed as not compatible.
