vintage-bedside-lamp-millefleurs-shade-two-models
Vintage Bedside Lamp, Millefleurs Shade, Two Models

Vintage Bedside Lamp with a Millefleurs Shade

A small lamp with a busy shade, which is a combination that works because the scale keeps it in check. The shade is a plain cone in fabric printed with a dense field of tiny flowers, the millefleurs pattern that belongs to Liberty prints and old wallpaper, and at 15 cm across it reads as one warm texture rather than as a pattern fighting the room. Under it the base is turned wood in a dark reddish brown, and this is where the two models differ: one is a sphere sitting on the surface, 24 cm tall in total, and the other a straight cylinder, 28 cm tall. The sphere is the softer of the two, the cylinder the more upright. Both take a standard E26 or E27 bulb, both plug into an ordinary outlet, and both are small enough to sit on a shelf, a windowsill or a crowded nightstand.

Product sizes

Model A: Dia 15 cm x H 24 cm (Dia 5.9″ x H 9.4″)

Model B: Dia 15 cm x H 28 cm (Dia 5.9″ x H 11″)

Specifications

Style: Vintage, farmhouse

Material: Wood and fabric

Shade: Fabric cone printed with a dense millefleurs pattern, 15 cm across

Base: Turned wood, a sphere on Model A and a cylinder on Model B

Finish: Dark reddish brown wood

Light source: LED or Edison bulb, not included

Bulb base: E26 or E27

Power source: Plug-in

Cord: 150 cm (59.1″) with a plug

Voltage: AC 110-240V

Switch: Inline on and off push button on the cord

Installation: None, plug it in and set it down

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one piece to the next

Related collections

Browse Vintage Table Lamps and Bedside Table Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0997/8183/7096/files/vintage-bedside-lamp-millefleurs-plain-front.jpg?v=1789410894
