unique-table-lamp-carved-backplate-opal-globe-two-sizes
Unique Table Lamp, Carved Backplate and Opal Globe, Two Sizes

Unique Table Lamp Built as a Totem with a Carved Backplate

Three parts and nothing else: a turned wood body rising from the surface, a small matte opal globe sitting on top of it, and a large carved oval standing directly behind the globe like a shield. The backplate is the point. It is worked all over with a chiseled texture that reads as tree bark under raking light, and because it stands behind the light source rather than around it, the globe throws its glow forward while the plate stays in relief. Each size ships with its own plate finish, one in dark charcoal and one in warm bronze tones, so a pair reads as two related objects rather than a matched set. The wide version is 22 cm across and 40 cm tall, the narrow one 19 by 45 cm. Light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to source, and the color temperature is chosen at order time from 3000K, 4000K or 6000K.

Product sizes

Wide: Dia 22 cm x H 40 cm (Dia 8.7″ x H 15.7″)

Tall: Dia 19 cm x H 45 cm (Dia 7.5″ x H 17.7″)

Specifications

Style: Japandi, modern

Material: Solid wood, metal and opal glass

Shade: Matte opal glass globe seated on the wood body

Backplate: Carved oval standing behind the globe, dark charcoal or warm bronze

Finish: Walnut wood body

Light source: Integrated LED, no bulb needed

Color temperature: 3000K, 4000K or 6000K, chosen when ordering

Power source: Plug-in

Cord: 150 cm (59.1″) with a plug

Voltage: AC 110-240V

Switch: Inline on and off push button on the cord

Installation: None, plug it in and set it down

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one piece to the next

Related collections

Browse Wood Table Lamps and Glass Table Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.
