On the first 50 cm version it is a flattened disc, which keeps the silhouette low and wide. On the second 50 cm version it is a tall cylinder, and the fixture becomes vertical and much more present in the room. The surface is a fine grained high polymer worked to look like unglazed plaster, matte from across the room and tactile close up.
