tall-table-lamp-stacked-carved-wood-blocks-40-x-87-cm
Tall Table Lamp on Stacked Carved Wood Blocks 40 x 87 cm

Tall Table Lamp on a Base of Stacked Carved Wood Blocks

At 87 cm this is the height of a small floor lamp standing on a table, which is the whole reason to buy it: on a console or a sideboard it reaches the level a room usually only gets from a pendant. The base is a stack of carved wood blocks, each one cut square and then shaped so the corners fall differently from the block below, and the pile steps outward at the bottom onto a square plinth. The grain runs across the faces rather than up them, so the wood reads as a set of solid pieces rather than as a turned column. Above it the shade is a plain 40 cm drum, wide enough to balance the mass underneath, offered in white fabric for a warm even glow or black fabric, which closes the sides and pushes the light up and down instead. The finish is walnut on both.

Product sizes

One size: Dia 40 cm x H 87 cm (⌀ 15.7″ x H 34.3″)

Specifications

Style: Rustic, modern

Material: Wood, metal and fabric

Base: Carved wood blocks stacked on a square plinth

Shade: Plain drum, 40 cm across, white or black fabric

Finish: Walnut

Light source: E26 or E27 base, LED or Edison, bulb not included

Voltage: AC 110-240V

Power source: Plug-in, 150 cm (59.1 in) cord

Switch: Inline switch on the cord

Installation: None, plug it in and switch it on

Weight: 7 kg (15.4 lbs)

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Plug: US, UK, AU or EU, chosen at order

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain, tone and the exact cut of each block vary from one lamp to the next

Related collections

Browse Wood Table Lamps and Living Room Table Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.
