small-table-lamp-amber-glass-disc-walnut-gourd-base
Small Table Lamp, Amber Glass Disc on a Walnut Gourd Base

Small Table Lamp with an Amber Glass Disc

Small does not have to mean plain. The base here is a turned gourd in walnut, wide and rounded at the bottom, drawn in to a narrow neck, and above it sits a flattened ring of amber glass with a brass finial at its center. The glass is the surprise: rather than a shade over a bulb, it is a torus that catches the light from below and holds it, so the lit part of the lamp is a floating amber ring rather than a cone of fabric. Light leaves it downward onto the table in a warm circle. The LED is built in and the touch switch on the base cycles three color temperatures, warm, neutral and white, one per press. Two heights are offered on the same 22 cm width, 25 cm and 32 cm, which is the difference between a nightstand piece and something that reads on a shelf.

Product sizes

Small: Dia 22 cm x H 25 cm (⌀ 8.7″ x H 9.8″)

Large: Dia 22 cm x H 32 cm (⌀ 8.7″ x H 12.6″)

Specifications

Style: Mid century, modern

Material: Wood, metal and glass

Shade: Flattened ring of amber glass with a brass finial

Base: Turned walnut gourd with a narrow neck

Light source: Integrated LED, no bulb needed

Color temperature: Warm, neutral and white, cycled by the switch

Voltage: AC 110-240V

Power source: USB, charging cable included

Switch: Touch switch on the base

Installation: None, connect it and switch it on

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one turning to the next

Related collections

Browse Wood Table Lamps and Bedside Table Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.
