Switched on, the two discs read as eyes and the whole object reads as a small figure looking slightly upward; switched off, it is a block of timber with the grain running through the cut. That is the trick of it, and it explains why the lamp is usually photographed in pairs and on a plinth rather than beside a bed. The section is 18 by 18 cm in both sizes and the height is either 34 or 40 cm, which is the difference between a shelf object and a floor level one. Teak is dense and oily, so the surface takes a low sheen and the color deepens rather than fades. It takes a standard E26 or E27 bulb at about 12W and plugs into an ordinary outlet.

Product sizes

Small: L 18 x W 18 x H 34 cm (L 7.1″ x W 7.1″ x H 13.4″)

Large: L 18 x W 18 x H 40 cm (L 7.1″ x W 7.1″ x H 15.7″)

Specifications

Style: Modern, Japandi

Material: Teak wood with polycarbonate diffusers

Shade: Two round frosted polycarbonate diffusers set into the head

Finish: Teak, low sheen

Light source: LED or Edison bulb, not included

Bulb base: E26 or E27

Power: About 12W

Power source: Plug-in

Cord: 150 cm (59.1″) with a plug

Voltage: AC 110-240V

Switch: Inline on and off push button on the cord

Installation: None, plug it in and set it down

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one piece to the next

Related collections

Browse Wood Table Lamps and Modern Table Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0997/8183/7096/files/sculptural-table-lamp-teak-plain-front.jpg?v=1789410495
