The slats hide the lamp from directly below and let a fine striped light out through the gaps, which is the whole point of the construction: the fixture is bright enough to work over a dining table and open enough to throw a soft pattern on the ceiling. The profile is a flattened lens, wide across with a short cone on top where the cord enters. Two finishes change it completely. Natural wood keeps the shade warm and almost disappears in a pale room; walnut is much darker and reads as a solid object against a white wall. Two sizes, 43 cm and 55 cm across, cover a small table and a full one. The frame takes an E26 or E27 base and the shade is handcrafted, so the grain and the spacing vary a little between pieces.

Product sizes

Size A: Dia 43 cm x H 28 cm (⌀ 16.9″ x H 8.8″)

Size B: Dia 55 cm x H 35 cm (⌀ 21.7″ x H 11.8″)

Specifications

Material: Wood, metal

Shade: Vertical wood slats on a metal frame

Finish: Natural wood or walnut

Bulb base: E26 or E27, LED

Mounting: Ceiling

Environment: Indoor

Applicable space: Dining room

Handcrafted: the grain varies between pieces

Related collections

Browse Wood Pendant Lights, Scandinavian Pendant Lights and Dining Room Pendant Lights for fittings that pair with this one.
