rustic-wall-sconce-turned-walnut-column-glass-globe
Rustic Wall Sconce, Turned Walnut Column, Glass Globe

A Hand Turned Walnut Column With a Glass Globe on Top

A column of walnut, turned on a lathe with the rings and swells a spindle gets, sits on a round brass plate and carries an opal glass globe at the top. Nothing about it is machined flat. The turning is what makes it read as an old piece rather than a new one: the profile steps in and out the way a stair baluster or a bed post does, and the brass plate behind it is small enough to disappear. It runs Dia 15 x H 50 cm, so it holds a wall on its own beside an armchair or a bed. The base is E26 or E27, not included, and the globe hides the lamp. Hardwired, switched from a common wall switch.

Product sizes

One size: Dia 15 x H 50 cm (⌀ 5.9″ x H 19.7″)

Specifications

Style: Vintage, farmhouse

Material: Walnut, brass, opal glass

Shade: Opal glass globe, about 15 cm across

Finish: Walnut column on a brass plate

Detail: Column turned on a lathe, profile steps in and out

Light source: E26 or E27 lamp, LED or filament, not included

Bulb base: E26 or E27

Recommended bulb: Warm 2700K LED or filament lamp

Wiring: Hardwired to the wall supply

Control: Works with a common wall switch, switch not included

Mounting: Wall

Voltage: AC 110-240V

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one piece to the next

Related collections

Browse Wood Wall Sconces, Farmhouse Wall Sconces and Brass Wall Sconces for fittings that pair with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0997/8183/7096/files/rustic-wall-sconce-turned-column-hero.png?v=1789441439
