jute-ceiling-light-two-tier-woven-drums
Jute Ceiling Light, Two Tier Woven Drums, Bulbs Included

A jute ceiling light built from two stacked rope drums, a wider upper tier above a narrower lower tier, hand-woven from natural jute and carried on a brushed brass tone ceiling plate.

How this jute ceiling light is woven

Vertical jute strands wrap around each drum frame, running parallel to form a curtain-like structure. Light passes through the gaps between strands and spreads softly outward and downward, while the strands keep the bulbs partially screened from direct view.

Three sockets, three bulbs supplied

The fixture carries three E27 sockets and ships with three 3000K warm white E27 LED bulbs, one per socket. Each socket accepts any standard medium screw base bulb as a replacement. For dimming, the maker advises replacing all three with Triac-dimmable E27 LEDs on a compatible dimmer switch, and notes that the included bulbs may or may not be dimmable, so the packaging should be checked.

Mounting and sizes

This is a close to ceiling fixture on a short fixed stem, hardwired to the ceiling junction box with no pendant cord. Diameters are 15.7 in, 19.7 in and 23.6 in, or 40, 50 and 60 cm. Each fixture is hand-woven, so slight variation in rope tension, strand spacing and surface tone between units comes with the method.
