chrome-floor-lamp-arc-dome-shade-marble-base
Chrome Floor Lamp, Arc Stem and Dome Shade, 57 Inch Reach

A Reach of 57 Inches, So the Light Lands on the Seat Not the Wall

This is the long reach version of the shape. The stem rises 75 inches, sweeps 57 inches out, and hangs a metal dome 59 inches off the floor, which is head height for anyone standing and well above a seated reader. A 12.5 inch disc of white marble holds it down. The shade is metal rather than fabric, so the light goes down in a defined circle instead of spreading through a drum, and it is the finish that makes the piece: chrome for a cool room, brass for a warm one, bronze for a dark one. It plugs in and needs no wiring.

Product sizes

Height: 75″ (190 cm)

Reach: 57″ (145 cm) from the pole to the center of the shade

Hang height: 59″ (150 cm) from the floor to the bottom of the dome

Shade: metal dome, 9″ high (23 cm)

Base: 12.5″ round x 2.5″ thick (32 x 6 cm), marble

Weight: about 17.7 kg (39 lb)

Specifications

Style: Mid century, modern

Material: Metal stem and metal shade with a natural marble base

Shade: Metal dome, open at the bottom

Finish: Chrome, brass or bronze

Light source: One screw base lamp in the dome, replaceable

Dimming: None on the fitting, use a dimmable lamp on a dimming outlet

Wiring: Plugged into a wall outlet, no electrician needed

Control: Switch on the cord

Mounting: Free standing on the weighted base

Voltage: AC 110-120V

IP rating: IP20, dry indoor use only, not waterproof

Environment: Indoor, dry locations

Natural marble: Vein, tone and markings vary from one base to the next

Related collections

Browse Arc Floor Lamps, Floor Lamps, Modern Floor Lamps, Living Room Floor Lamps and Bedroom Floor Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.
