bedside-wall-sconce-alabaster-orb-walnut-plate-three-shapes
Bedside Wall Sconce, Alabaster Orb, Walnut Plate

An Alabaster Orb Held Against a Walnut Grain Plate

A sphere of white alabaster is pinched between two small fittings against a walnut grain plate, and the LED inside lights the stone from within rather than shining past it. That is what alabaster is for: the stone is translucent and veined, so it glows unevenly, brighter where it is thin and cloudy where the figure runs through it. Three plate shapes are offered and they change the proportion rather than the light, from a compact plate 20 cm square in feel to a tall narrow one 27 cm high. The fitting is hardwired with an integrated LED, and a triac dimmable build can be ordered. Alabaster patterns differ from piece to piece, so the photographs show the type and not the exact stone.

Product sizes

Dia 19 x H 24 cm (7.5″ x 9.4″)

Dia 20 x H 20 cm (7.9″ x 7.9″)

Dia 12.5 x H 27 cm (4.9″ x 10.6″)

Specifications

Style: Mid century, modern

Material: Alabaster, metal

Shade: Solid alabaster orb lit from within

Finish: Dark walnut grain plate with a white alabaster orb

Light source: Integrated LED, no bulb needed

Color temperature: 3000K standard, 4000K or 6000K by custom order

Dimming: Triac dimmable build available to order

Mounting: Wall

Wiring: Hardwired to the wall supply

Control: Works with a common wall switch, switch not included

Voltage: AC 110-240V

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Natural stone: alabaster veining and cloudiness differ from one orb to the next

Related collections

Browse Wall Sconces for Bedroom, LED Wall Sconces and Modern Wall Sconces for fittings that pair with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0997/8183/7096/files/bedside-wall-sconce-alabaster-arch-plate.jpg?v=1789426179
