antique-brass-table-lamp-frosted-flower-glass-20-x-43-cm
Antique Brass Table Lamp, Frosted Flower Glass, 20 x 43 cm

Antique Brass Table Lamp with a Frosted Flower Glass Shade

A brass arm rises from a round wood base, curves over like a swan's neck and turns down again, and from its end hangs a frosted glass shade pressed into the shape of an open flower with a petalled rim. Because the shade hangs off the arm rather than sitting on a stem, the light falls forward and down onto whatever is in front of the lamp, which is how desk lamps of the 1930s worked and why this one reads as a study piece rather than as a bedside lamp. The glass is thick and frosted with a raised pattern, so it glows evenly and hides the bulb completely. The base is turned wood in a warm reddish brown with a brass collar, 20 cm across, and the lamp stands 43 cm tall. It takes a standard E26 or E27 bulb and has an inline switch on the cord.

Product sizes

One size: W 20 cm x H 43 cm (W 7.9″ x H 16.9″)

Specifications

Style: Vintage, traditional

Material: Metal, wood and glass

Shade: Frosted pressed glass in a flower shape with a petalled rim

Arm: Curved brass finished arm, fixed

Base: Turned wood disc, 20 cm across, with a brass collar

Light source: LED or Edison bulb, not included

Bulb base: E26 or E27

Power source: Plug-in

Cord: 150 cm (59″) with a plug

Voltage: AC 110-240V

Switch: Inline on and off switch on the cord

Installation: None, plug it in and set it down

IP rating: 20 - not waterproof

Environment: Indoor

Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia

Related collections

Browse Glass Table Lamps and Vintage Table Lamps for fittings that pair with this one.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0997/8183/7096/files/antique-brass-table-lamp-flower-plain-front.jpg?v=1789410545
