## Description: Wabi Sabi Pendant Light with a Perforated Dome The shade on this Wabi Sabi Pendant Light is a low dome pierced with openings that are all different: some round, some drawn out, none placed on a grid. The surface is worked with a coarse grain rather than smoothed, so the piece reads as something eroded rather than manufactured, which is the whole wabi-sabi argument. Lit, the openings throw a scatter of bright shapes onto the ceiling while the wide mouth drops an even pool below, so one fixture covers a dining table and lights the room around it at the same time. Three colors are offered: a white that disappears into a pale ceiling, a cream that warms against wood, and a black that turns the shade into a silhouette. The shell is high density polystyrene, LED bulbs are included on an E27 base, and a touch switch operates it.
