# Title: Remote Control Table Lamp, Woven Silk Shade 30 x 48 cm
## Description: Remote Control Table Lamp with a Woven Silk Shade A lamp across the room is useless if you have to cross the room to switch it on, which is why this one comes with a remote as well as a button on the base. Both do the same job, on and off; neither dims. What the remote is for is the console by the door, the far end of a sideboard or the second nightstand, places where a lamp earns its keep only if it can be reached from where you are sitting. The lamp itself is worth the trouble: the shade is hand woven mulberry silk, gathered into a flattened gourd shape with the ribs of the weave standing out as vertical lines, and it diffuses a single bulb into a warm even glow. Below it a plated brass stem flares into a trumpet where it meets the shade and drops into a black walnut neck and a round walnut foot. It measures 30 cm across and 48 cm tall.
