# Title: Oversized Ceiling Light in Overlapping Fabric Shades, 60 to 100 cm

## Description: Oversized Ceiling Light in Overlapping Fabric Shades This Oversized Ceiling Light is assembled from several hand knitted fabric shades that overlap rather than stack, each one offset from the next, so the silhouette turns as it descends and no two viewing angles give the same shape. Where two shades cross, the cloth doubles and the light dims, which is what gives the piece its depth: it is lit unevenly on purpose. The cloth is beige and coarse enough to show its weave against the light. It is a large fixture, and that is the point of it. The medium is 60 cm across and 57 cm deep, the large 80 by 75 cm, and the extra large 100 by 95 cm, which belongs over a long table, in a stairwell or in a room with height. Bulbs are included on an E27 base, the fixture is dimmable through a knob switch, the light temperature is chosen at order from warm 3000K to white 6000K, and the drop adjusts up to 120 cm. The character is wabi-sabi and modern at once.
