# Title: Mid Century Wall Sconce, Iron Cone, Wood Backplate

## Description: A Cone Shade on a Curved Stem and a Round Wood Plate A cone of spun iron hangs from a bent metal stem that rises out of a round wood backplate, at Dia 15 x H 24 cm. The shape is the familiar mid century one and it does what that shape has always done: the cone holds the light and sends it straight down, so the fitting reads quiet on the wall and puts a defined pool below rather than a general glow. The cone comes in black or in white, both against the same pale wood disc. The base is E26 or E27 up to 40W, not included, so a filament lamp sits behind the shade if you want the period look. Hardwired, switched from a common wall switch. Product sizes One size: Dia 15 x H 24 cm (⌀ 5.9″ x H 9.4″) Specifications Style: Mid century, Scandinavian Material: Iron, metal, wood Shade: Spun iron cone, open at the base Finish: Black or white cone on a natural wood backplate Light source: E26 or E27 lamp, LED or filament, not included Bulb base: E26 or E27 Maximum wattage: 40W Recommended bulb: Warm 2700K LED or filament lamp Wiring: Hardwired to the wall supply Control: Works with a common wall switch, switch not included Mounting: Wall Voltage: AC 110-240V IP rating: 20 - not waterproof Environment: Indoor Certification: North America, EU, AU, Saudi Arabia Solid wood: grain and tone vary from one piece to the next Related collections Browse Mid Century Modern Wall Sconces, Wood Wall Sconces and Hardwired Wall Sconces for fittings that pair with this one.
