# Title: Japandi Table Lamp on a Solid Wood Hourglass Base 33 cm ## Description: Japandi Table Lamp on a Solid Wood Hourglass Base One piece of solid wood, turned as an hourglass: a broad foot narrowing to a waist and flaring open again at the top, where the cloth shade sits directly on the flare with no hardware showing. That is the whole base, and it is why the lamp reads as quiet. Nothing is applied, nothing is painted over, and the grain runs continuously from the foot to the neck, so the turning is visible as a single curve rather than a stack of parts. The shade is a plain empire in cloth, and its top cover lifts off, which lets the light out upward as well as down and changes the lamp from a reading light to a soft column. Two sizes are offered, 33 x 59 cm and 41 x 74 cm, in natural wood, walnut or black.
