# Title: Console Table Lamp, Turned Wood Column 38 x 68 cm
## Description: Console Table Lamp on a Turned Wood Column This is the tall one. The column is solid wood, turned to a long taper that widens toward the floor, and it carries a cloth drum shade 38.5 cm across at a total height of 68.5 cm, which is roughly the height of a floor lamp shortened to stand on a console or a sideboard. At that height the shade sits near eye level for anyone seated nearby, so the light falls across a room rather than onto the table it stands on. The switch is a rotary knob and it dims: turn it and the output runs smoothly from low up to full, with no fixed steps. Three finishes are offered. Natural wood and walnut both come with a white cloth shade; the black version comes with a black shade. The socket is E26 or E27 and takes an LED or an Edison bulb, which is not included, so the color temperature and the brightness are yours to pick.
