# Title: Boho Table Lamp, Tiered Straw Shade on a Wood Cone 60 cm
## Description: Boho Table Lamp with a Tiered Straw Shade on a Wood Cone The shade is built the way a roof is thatched. Natural straw is laid in overlapping courses on three stepped tiers, each one wider than the one above it, with the cut ends left loose so the edge of every tier breaks into a fringe. Light leaves it through those gaps rather than through the material, which is what gives the pool below its broken, moving quality. Under it the base is a tall cone of wood veneer laid in a herringbone pattern, so the grain runs diagonally in alternating bands and the cone reads as woven rather than turned. It is a large piece, 60 cm across and 60 cm tall, made to sit on a console or a low table where it can be seen in full. Two finishes are offered, natural and black.
